Website User Agreement

These Terms and Conditions are a legally binding agreement between the User (You) and eTranslation Services (We, Us, Our, Ours). The agreement defines the stipulations:

    1. The way the User is allowed to request a quote using our online form and use our website to place an order for our products, services, and solutions.
    2. The way we use the information you gave us voluntarily so we can respond to your request to provide you with our products, services, and solutions, and to make any revision to your order. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn how we treat the personal information you give us.
    3. The way we provide language services to all our clients, including translations, transcriptions, voice-overs and interpreting services.

eTranslation Services owns this website. It is protected by international trademark and copyright laws. You are not allowed to modify, reproduce, copy, download, upload, republish, or transmit any material from our website for your non-commercial and personal use without our express approval. 

Liability Limitations

eTranslation Services will not be liable under any circumstances for any damage or losses from the reliance or use of the materials displayed on the website. eTranslation Services will not be responsible for any loss that may arise or any special, consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, even if we are advised that such a possibility may occur.

eTranslation Services include all its employees, principals, partners, representatives and agents, and any third-party providers. We take all the necessary measures to safeguard each submitted file, source materials, and documents. However, eTranslation Services shall not be held accountable for document losses in case of natural disasters, computer viruses, power outage, software/hardware failure, or other unforeseen incidences that are beyond the control of the company.

The client (You) is responsible for saving a copy or back up of your files. eTranslation Services is in no way responsible to any of our clients and third parties for any document alteration, corruption, or loss.

Based on the definition of our services, eTranslation Services is only accountable for translating documents and other written materials. The thoughts, ideas, and views expressed in the documents are owned by the writers and clients using our services. The same terms apply when we provide transcription and voice-over services.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the United States. Any dispute is under the sole jurisdiction of the courts in New York.

Business Transactions

The User will submit a translation request using the eTranslation Services request form, which includes all the relevant details and the document or information relative to the request for translation or interpreting services.

eTranslation Services will send a quote based on the information the client provides. Upon approval, the User processes the payment required by eTranslation Services before the work on the translation, transcription, voice-overs, or interpretation commences.

General Provisions

    1. The User warrants that all information he/she provides is accurate, up to date, and correct. If your email address is not working and cannot receive emails, we are not responsible for the non-delivery of your translation and other language-related projects. We will try to contact you through your phone number to ensure that you can provide us with an alternative means to transmit your files.
    2. The User will process the payment for translation or interpreting requests before its commencement. Incomplete or delayed payment will affect the delivery of the translation project.
    3. In such an instance, the User is the sole party responsible for the delay.

Replacement and Cancellation

Our policies for replacement and cancellation of translation, transcription or voice-over projects are simple.

We see to it that all the services we offer to all our clients pass through our quality assurance process. If you are not fully satisfied with the quality of the output, please send us an email requesting a rework seven (7) days after receipt of the file.

Your email should provide us with the details regarding your concerns, disputes, and questions regarding the submitted work. If the translation falls short of eTranslation Services’ promise, we will redo the translation without additional charge. We need your written request so that our translators can respond to, address, or correct any editorial omission or mistake immediately. The request for rework only covers the original content, and we will redo the translation according to your initial instructions.

The client acknowledges and concurs with the company’s Refund Policy. Our policy on refunds clearly expresses that we offer our services to the best of our abilities. We start the project as soon as we receive payment for the requested service, and we guarantee the work that we do on behalf of the client. Again, please review our refund policy.

File delivery

We commit to deliver your translation, transcription or voice-over projects within the deadline we have set. In case you did not receive the document or file, please inform us immediately. Be sure to whitelist eTranslation Services so you can receive our email in your inbox. Likewise, please check your junk folder to see if the email from us is there.

Intellectual Property Rights

eTranslation Services and its translators do not make any claims on any piece of work sent to us for translation, transcription or voice-over purposes. All the documents coming from our clients remain their intellectual property. We ensure that our translators sign a confidentiality agreement, waiving their claim to the material.

Likewise, you have to assure us that you have the copyrights to the documents or portions of the content that belong to other parties. You also agree not to use our services for translating any material content that infringes, threatens, harasses, defames or abuses people and organizations politically, religiously, racially, ethnically, or otherwise. It also includes, without limitations, materials that can negatively affect the reputation, goodwill, and public image of eTranslation Services.

eTranslation Services reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. We advise you to check the site periodically to ensure that you are up to date with our terms.
